Location: Hamilton, ON; Brantford, ON; Waterloo, ON; or Niagara, ON. This is a field sales position, so the employee must reside within or near one of these locations.
Kennametal is seeking talented machinists and programmers looking to transition their career from the shop floor into a professional sales role. If you are currently working as a machinist or have previous hands-on machining and CNC programming experience, we would like to speak with you! This role involves driving metal-cutting tool sales growth with new and established customers, managing customer relationships, providing technical support, and increasing productivity. It combines technical knowledge and sales skills to achieve targets, build a strong territory presence, and develop a sales pipeline. The role is based from a home office within the territory, with 80% or more of the week spent in the field at customer locations. Travel is primarily within the territory, with minimal overnight travel. A company vehicle, competitive salary with bonus, and benefits from day one are included.
