Job description

CNC Machinist

We are seeking Night Shift (4 PM – 2:30 AM) Machinists with experience in on-floor programming of machines to join our team. Our General Die & Engineering facility produces die cast dies, plastic injection molds, and metal stamping die components in a low-volume, high-mix environment. We are looking for innovative, problem-solving partners to join us.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-floor programming of machines using Work NC
2. Reading operator or process documents and performing setups and operations
3. Proving out programs on the floor with NC programmers
4. Operating large horizontal, vertical, and 5-axis CNC mills
5. Performing milling, drilling, and tapping tasks
6. Machining complex components to tight tolerances
7. Using inspection tools to validate work

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience operating large horizontal or vertical CNC mills
2. Experience with 5-axis CNC machines is beneficial
3. On-floor programming experience
4. Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
5. Proficiency with measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, gauges
6. Attention to detail, mathematical skills, mechanical aptitude
7. Effective communication skills
8. Team player, punctual, safety-conscious, adaptable
9. Ability to lift 50 pounds

Shift: Night Shift (4 PM - 2:30 AM), 5 days a week

Compensation: Based on experience + 10% Night Shift Premium
