Qualifications
- 3-5 years minimum experience in precision machining.
- Valid Canadian residency or work permit.
- Must be able to operate a CNC machine (lathe and/or milling machine)
- Must be able to competently operate a vertical Milling machine or a Lathe.
- Knowledge of HASS machines
- Installation adjustment and calibration of CNC machine (lathe and/or milling machine)
- Good knowledge of cutting tools.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and to detect errors in drawings.
- Able to check for accuracy and conformance to specifications for the dimensions of products using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of most materials such as Aluminum, Brass and Stainless Steel.
- Responsible for the production of small precision parts
- Ability to use computer for data entry and search any information that is related to the job.
- Set-up, adjust and compensate any machine errors or tools errors when needed
- Able to complete complex job in an appropriate time frame.
- Follow job instructions in an efficient way.
- Keeping work area clean and organized.
- Works well with others
Personal Requirements
- English/French (an asset but not necessary)
- Must be polyvalent so as to develop other type of machining ability.
- Must be proactive
- Must be able to read English
- Able to work within a team environment.
- Able to work overtime.
Machining experience: 3-5 years (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
