This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity in a company known for long-term stability, craftsmanship, and high-performance manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot a variety of conventional machines—including lathes, mills, and grinders—to produce high-precision components.
  • Interpret detailed engineering drawings and determine optimal machining approaches.
  • Work independently to ensure parts meet or exceed standards.
  • Support training and mentoring less experienced team members (Level IV).

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of manual machining experience (lathe, mill, grinder)
  • Ability to set up and run machines independently
  • Skilled in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Machine parts to tight tolerances (±0.0002”)
  • Perform first article inspections and self-check quality
  • Proficient with tools like micrometers, calipers, drop indicators
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make process adjustments
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Available for first shift and overtime as needed
Preferred Background
  • Experience lapping parts to ±0.00005”
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing
  • Familiarity with ISO or 6S environments
  • CNC training or certification (plus for exposure, though role is manual)
  • Experience mentoring less experienced machinists
