Job summary

Randstad Canada in Uxbridge, Ontario is seeking a CNC Machinist for full-time, permanent placement. You will operate multi-axis lathes and 4-/5-axis VMCs with Fanuc control, edit G/M-code programs, and produce tooling and parts for the automotive sector.

The role requires daily in-person work in Uxbridge, with shift options and a DPSP plan. Compensation ranges with hourly rates from CAD 30 to CAD 40, plus employer-paid benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist operating multi-axis lathes or 4-axis and 5-axis vertical machining centers.
• Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain control units in high-precision manufacturing.
• Strong blueprint reading skills with G- and M-Code programming interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform custom and production machining for runs up to 200 parts and occasional single components.
• Set up and operate 4-axis and 5-axis VMCs, 9-axis lathes, or dedicated mill-only and lathe-only setups with Fanuc controls.
• Edit G- and M-code programs to customize, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC machine programs.
• Work in-person daily in Uxbridge to manufacture specialized production tooling and parts for the automotive sector.
