Elmer's Manufacturing Ltd. in Altona, MB, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to produce precision components for our farm equipment line.

You will plan machining steps, set up mills and lathes, and program from blueprints to ensure quality and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC experience, strong math skills, and a hands-on approach to process ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan machining requirements by studying work orders, blueprints, and specs.

Your ResponsibilitiesWill Include:

• Plan out machining requirements by studying workorders, blueprints, engineering plans and material specifications.
• Program mill and lathe by entering instructions,setting tool registers and calculating requirements.
• Set-ups.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions and calling forrepairs when required.
• Accomplishes organization goals by acceptingownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunitiesto add value to job accomplishments.
• Maintaining high level of quality and safety.
