Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a CNC Machine Programmer to join our team on-site in Hamilton, WA. The role involves designing 3-D models, 3-5 axis tool paths using Unigraphics CAD/CAM, selecting cutters, and optimizing milling for composites, epoxies, steel, and aluminum.

You will work with process engineers, prepare shop documentation, verify tool paths with Vericut, and ensure ISO 9000 compliant setups. A strong background in NC programming and 5-axis mills, plus experience with Unigraphics NX,

Qualifications

  • Engineering or engineering technology degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years' experience as an NC programmer programming 5-axis mills.
  • Experience using Unigraphics/Siemens NX software preferred.
  • Manual machining experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Determines methods, cutter types and cutting parameters depending on materials and design specifications.
  • Designs 3-D models, drawings and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements.

  • Provides input in production tracking software.
  • Works with process engineers on planning of manufacturing process to ensure quality and design objectives are achieved.
  • Creates shop documentation for setup of the machines complying with ISO 9000 standards.
  • Analyzes laser-tracking data to assure quality of the setup.
  • Works with the machinists to ensure setup and machining procedures are followed.
  • Perform tool path verification using Vericut software.
  • General knowledge of standard G-Code language, machine offsets, and part locating

We are looking for a CNC Machine Programmer to join our growing team.
This position is located on-site in Hamilton, WA.
Position Description
  • Determines methods, cutter types and cutting parameters depending on a variety of materials (composites, epoxies, steel, aluminum, etc.) and design specifications
  • Designs 3-D computer models, drawings and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements
  • Creates 3-5 axis tool paths utilizing Unigraphics CAD/CAM software
  • Provides input in production tracking software.
  • Works with process engineers on planning of manufacturing process to ensure that quality and design objectives are achieved.

Qualifications
  • Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
Education/Experience

Additional Information
  • Wage range for this role is between $27 - $58 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
