Job Description

The Byrne Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and people-focused Cluster HR Manager to lead the HR function across multiple 4-star and boutique hotels and leisure facilities in Galway. This is an exciting, full-time on-site role based in Galway City Centre, ideal for a motivated HR professional looking to take the next step in a group-level leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all HR operations across multiple Galway-based properties
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities
  • Coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters
  • Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, learning, and development initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with Irish employment law and GDPR
  • Support and deliver performance appraisals and succession planning
  • Maintain and optimise HR systems and records
  • Build and sustain a culture of collaboration, respect, and high performance

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a cluster/multi-site or senior HR role
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Alkimii HRIS systems knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships across all departments
