Mitie is seeking a Cluster Facilities Manager to oversee both hard and soft facilities services across multiple client locations. You will lead facilities teams, manage suppliers and ensure high-quality service delivery in a safety-first environment.

The role emphasizes building services knowledge, contract governance, stakeholder engagement, and cost control, with a focus on compliant, efficient operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in facilities management covering hard and soft services.
• Technical knowledge of building services and compliance.

• Understanding of FM contracts, SLAs, KPIs and supplier management.
• IOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead hard FM services delivery including M&E, HVAC, lighting, fire systems, lifts and building fabric.
• Oversee soft FM services such as cleaning, waste management and planting maintenance.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to facilities teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and act as the main contact for operations.
• Monitor performance against contracts, SLAs and KPIs and support cost control.

ROLE: Cluster Facilities Manager

LOCATION: Jersey – Broad Street & St Brelade | Guernsey – St Peter Port, Smith Street & St Sampson Branch

We're looking for a Facilities Co-Ordinator to support the strategic and operational management of hard and soft facilities services across multiple branch locations, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient and high-quality service delivery.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of hard FM services, including Mechanical & Electrical systems, HVAC, power, lighting, fire systems, lifts, building fabric and cooling tower management.
• Manage soft FM service delivery, including cleaning, waste management and internal and external planting maintenance.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to facilities teams, suppliers and specialist contractors, driving a high-performance and safety-focused culture.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory and health and safety requirements, including fire safety, water hygiene, electrical safety and wider H&S legislation.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, occupiers and senior leadership, acting as the key point of contact for facilities operations.
• Monitor service performance against FM contracts, SLAs and KPIs, supporting cost control, service excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience within Facilities Management, with responsibility for both hard and soft services.
• Technical background with strong knowledge of building services, compliance requirements and facilities operations.
• Proven operational leadership experience within a complex, multi-site or multi-location environment.
• Strong understanding of FM contracts, SLAs, KPIs, supplier management and outsourced service provider performance.
• IOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong financial awareness with experience managing budgets, costs and service performance.
