Job summary

Aramark is seeking aBartender to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, greet guests, and handle transactions in a fast-paced setting across our client locations in Canada.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of bartending experience, holds a valid Smart Serve certification, and demonstrates exceptional hospitality, organization, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years bartending in fast-paced full-service settings.
• Knowledge of bartending principles, recipes, and current trends.
• Valid Smart Serve Certification.
• Excellent hospitality, friendliness and beverage knowledge.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests, takes orders, and handles cash/credit transactions.
• Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• May assist servers by providing drinks from the service well.
• Adheres to alcohol service policies and checks IDs for age.
• Maintains cash handling accuracy and security of assets.
• Sets up/breaks down stations and cleans/sanitizes.
• Monitors stock levels and restocks as needed.
• Delivers attentive guest service and anticipates needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• May include providing servers drinks from the service well
• Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Adheres to cash handling policies
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests' needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensures security of company assets

• Valid Smart Serve Certification
• Displays phenomenal hospitality, friendliness, and comprehensive beverage knowledge.
• Demonstrates organizational & multi-tasking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lb
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced fun work environment
• Ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays

The pay range for this position is $17.60 - $17.60.
