Job summary

Aramark in Kamloops is seeking a bartender to greet guests, mix drinks, and handle cash while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced setting.

You will work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, with opportunities to learn current trends and build guest rapport. Must meet alcohol service requirements and uphold safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of bartending principles and recipes and current trends.
• Displays phenomenal hospitality, friendliness, and beverage knowledge.
• Demonstrates organizational & multi-tasking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ideal candidate will be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit transactions.
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• May include providing servers drinks from the service well.
• Adheres to alcohol service policies and checks IDs for age requirements.
• Sets up/breaks down stations, cleans and sanitizes.
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked.
• Provides excellent guest service and contributes to guest satisfaction.
• Maintains positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Ensures security of company assets.

Job Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• May include providing servers drinks from the service well
• Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Adheres to cash handling policies
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests' needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensures security of company assets
