Aramark at the Canadian Tire Centre is hiring seasonal part-time Runner/Busser for Club Bell to deliver best-in-class food and beverage service to high-profile guests. You’ll work with the Club Bell Manager and Event Day Leads to support guest experiences during events.

This front-line role focuses on maintaining clean service areas, replenishing items, and helping the culinary team while staying calm under pressure in a busy arena.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing duties as directed by the Club Bell Manager or Lead.
• Assist with setup, execution, and tear down of the main buffet line and action stations.
• Able to work under pressure with a calm demeanor in a loud arena environment.
• Keep all items in food and coffee service areas replenished and clear of debris.
• Assist with switching from main dinner to desserts on the buffet in a timely manner.
• Work closely with culinary team and communicate clearly.
• Ensure prep area is kept clean and orderly.
• Educate guests on menu items and food allergies and sensitivities.
• Sort dishware & cutlery, fold napkins, and assist with resetting tables.
• Assist with keeping suites and side bars clean, restock fridges, and organize dishes.
• May assist servers with clearing dishes from suites & loge seats.
• Bring linens, garbage, compost and recyclables to the recycling room after each event.
• Assist with banquets and special catered functions when required.

This is a front-line position responsible for providing outstanding food and beverage service to our high-end clientele in Club Bell at Canadian Tire Centre. Reporting directly to the Club Bell Manager theRunner/Busser works with the team to create memorable experiences for our guests.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONS

• Perform opening and closing duties as directed by the Club Bell Manager or Lead.
• Assistwith set up, execution, and tear down of the main buffet line and action stations
• Able to work under pressure with a calm demeanor in an often-loud kitchen and arena environment
• Main focuson event days is to keep all items in all food and coffee service areas replenished and clear ofdebris
• Assist with switching from main dinner to desserts on the buffet in a timely and organized manner
• Work closely with culinary team and communicate clearly
• Ensure your work location in the designated prep area is always kept clean and orderly.
• Become educated with all menu items and be able to assist guests with questions pertaining to foodallergies and sensitivities
• Sort dishware & cutlery properly, fold napkins and assist with resetting tables
• When required, assist with keeping suites and side bars clean, help restock fridges, and organise dishes inthe dish washing area
• May be asked to assist the servers with clearing dishes from suites & loge seats
• Bring all linens, garbage, compost and recyclable materials down to the recyclingroom at the end of eachevent
• Assistwith banquets and special catered functions when required

• Maintain a sanitary department following health & safety codes and regulations.
• Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment and work with Manager and Leads to address any safety concerns
• Ensure all food/safety temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, as necessary
