Job Description :

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect – GCP with 10+ years of experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Architecture :

• Lead and mentor teams of cloud platform engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Design enterprise-grade cloud architectures and platform solutions that align with customer business objectives
• Define technical standards, best practices, and architectural patterns for cloud platform engineering teams
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide strategic technical direction for complex cloud implementations
• Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies, microservices architectures, and modern platform engineering practices

Customer Engagement & Solution Delivery :

• Work on-site at customer locations to understand business requirements and technical constraints
• Lead discovery sessions and architectural workshops with customer stakeholders and technical teams
• Present technical solutions and recommendations to C-level executives and senior leadership
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic customer engagements
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical solutions and implementation roadmaps

Platform Strategy & Governance :

• Establish cloud governance frameworks, security policies, and compliance standards
• Design and implement Policy as Code strategies to ensure consistent governance across environments
• Lead FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud costs and establish cost governance practices
• Define observability and monitoring strategies to ensure platform reliability and performance
• Drive DevSecOps transformation and security automation across customer environments

Team Management & Delivery :

• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable quality across multiple workstreams
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including security, networking, and application development teams
• Lead pre-sales technical discussions and solution design for new opportunities
• Ensure knowledge transfer and capability building within customer teams
• Drive continuous improvement processes and technical innovation initiatives

Required Qualifications

Experience & Leadership

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development, cloud architecture, or platform engineering
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and managing complex technology implementations
• Proven track record of successful large-scale cloud transformation projects
• Experience working on-site at customer locations and managing client relationships

Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) with architectural-level understanding
• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, ARM Templates)
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and governance best practices
• Extensive experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application architectures
• A software development background and proficiency in at-least one programming languages (Python, Go, Java, .NET, etc.)
