Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Toronto seeks a Solution Architect to design cloud-based distributed systems, APIs, and agentic AI capabilities, guiding architecture decisions across product teams. You will lead technical roadmaps and ensure secure adoption of new tech.

Strong leadership, rapid learning, and excellent communication with business partners are essential. Exposure to enterprise AI governance and regulated environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of architectural leadership or strong technical leadership transitioning to architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to design distributed systems, APIs and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
• Strong communication with business and technology partners; fluency in Operations domain and supporting tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of operational workflow and document management technologies.
• Design solutions that scale with business vision while ensuring reliability.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to evolve the technical roadmap for products.
• Ensure safe adoption of technology with security best practices.
• Build relationships with product owners and delivery leads to understand business needs.
• Analyze options to meet business needs and safety/performance standards.
• Present solutions to business partners and governance forums for feedback and approval.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of a solution.
