Job summary

Moody's is seeking a Software Engineer focused on cloud-based products and services. You will participate in designing and implementing new features, and improve existing capabilities in multi-tier enterprise apps.

You will work with DevOps and QA to ensure stability, performance, and scalability while contributing to technical design and estimation. This Canada-based role offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field is required.
• At least 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong cloud knowledge across Azure and AWS.
• Solid OO design and programming experience in desktop and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and implementation of new features in cloud-based products.
• Provide input on technical design, cloud infrastructure, optimization, stability and scalability.
• Estimate projects and tasks from a technical perspective.
• Collaborate with QA to identify and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications and resolve environment issues.
• Investigate root causes of software and service problems and provide fixes.
