Freddie Mac is seeking a Technical Lead of Security Architecture to elevate security designs for on-prem and cloud solutions. You will set the vision for cloud security, coach teams, and drive secure development practices within an Agile framework.

The role emphasizes threat modeling, tool ecosystem mastery, and automated testing in CI/CD to enhance reliability and performance across applications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8 years experience in security architecture, information security, IT or information risk management.
• Minimum 4 years experience establishing Cloud Security Architectures in AWS, with Azure, Google Cloud experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set vision, lead and coach security architecture and automation teams for cloud solutions and controls.
• Adopt and champion Agile methodologies to improve workflow velocity and leadership visibility into project timelines.
• Maintain vigilance about current threat vectors and cloud security tool ecosystem.
• Develop security patterns to enable developers to design and build applications with appropriate security controls.
• Drive a data-driven culture with KPIs fed to automated tooling to improve reliability and performance.
• Standardize and automate security tools configuration/patching in the cloud.
• Prototype new security tools and technologies while optimizing and consolidating tools.
• Automate security testing in CI/CD pipelines to improve the development lifecycle.
