Job description

Are you passionate about ensuring IT projects are executed securely in a global and highly regulated environment? Do you want to join a team that shapes the secure usage of cutting-edge cloud technologies? If so, then you might be Fivesky’s next Cloud Security Architect!

Who you are:

• You have 5–8 years of information security experience, with hands-on expertise in application and/or infrastructure security in an enterprise environment.
• You possess advanced proficiency in AWS, AWS Security, Visio (or equivalent architectural diagramming tools), and technical writing.
• You deeply understand technology risk management, secure network design, and security controls such as encryption, authentication methods, and identity management.
• You are an excellent communicator, capable of interacting at all organizational levels and creating detailed, audience-specific documentation.
• You excel at influencing and engaging with senior management, managing expectations, and navigating high-pressure situations.

It would be awesome if you had:

• Hands-on experience with popular cloud vendors like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of modern authentication technologies (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0) and applied cryptography (e.g., PKI).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, HTTP, and traditional network technologies such as firewalls, NAT, load balancers, and web proxies.
• AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, or CCSP certifications.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with network, platform, engineering, and development teams during architecture design and review sessions.
• Provide security expertise in secure network design, database access, entitlement design, encryption, and secure data transfer.
• Review the security posture of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS projects, identifying areas of risk and recommending secure implementation strategies.
• Document and present security risks to senior stakeholders and create guidance for adopting new technologies securely.
• Assist in identifying areas where the firm should invest to enhance IT security.
