Job summary

Kinaxis Inc. is hiring a Cloud Engineer II for the Site Reliability Engineering team in Ottawa/Toronto, Canada. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and production efficiency of the Kinaxis SaaS platform.

You will work with Product, Security, Platform, and Support teams to deploy and operate services, contribute to automation, and translate designs into practical implementations. Growth and collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting production systems in cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; knowledge of containers and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of production systems to meet SLA targets and maintain availability.
• Contribute to automation across Azure, GCP, and datacenters via IaC and deployment pipelines.
• Assist in managing production and HOL environments, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and incident response with the team.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, and Support teams to ensure production stability.
• Learn from senior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
