Job summary

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a cloud-focused solutions architect/engineer to deliver Google Cloud Platform and Firebase solutions for enterprise clients. You will design, implement, and optimize cloud-native applications, APIs, and integrations while leading development teams and CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with clients to translate business needs into technical architectures, participate in architecture reviews, and contribute to cloud adoption roadmaps and modernization strategies.

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in software development, cloud consulting, application architecture, or cloud engineering.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Firebase development.
Experience delivering cloud-native applications and modern web/mobile/cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Google Cloud & Firebase solutions.
Lead technical workstreams across modernization and cloud-native projects.
Configure and optimize Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Functions, Hosting, Analytics, Messaging).
Apply IaC via Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines with DevOps practices.
Engage with clients, communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
