The Role

This role will lead the architecture, design, and deployment of network solutions.

Responsibilities will include developing specifications, implementing and maintaining cloud network security architecture for systems applications, performing and managing network design upgrades and hardware reconfigurations in a hybrid environment, diagnosing and resolving routing and interconnectivity issues, and overall ensuring the availability, reliability, integrity, and efficient operation of the systems that support the AWS Cloud and hosted applications.

There will be on-call hours for this position on a rotating schedule (typically twice a month).

Job Duties:

• AWS multi-tenant, hybrid network infrastructure design and support
• Ability to create Infrastructure as Code scripts
• Installs, maintains, and evaluates network systems and communications
• Troubleshoots the most complex network issues
• Conducts various research and analysis regarding new technology, network traffic, potential security risks, etc.
• Leads the network architecture design and optimization
• Protects data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers from market-leading vendors
• Ability to design security protocols around SOC, PCI, HIPAA, and CJIS compliance
• Performs all other related duties assigned
