Job summary

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate in Advisory Technology Strategy to lead cloud infrastructure initiatives. The role focuses on designing robust cloud storage and processing systems, implementing Terraform automation, and ensuring security best practices.

You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver scalable, compliant cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, while enhancing data governance and DevOps integration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud infrastructure design and deployment using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Understanding of cloud security principles including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, AWS/GCP DevOps).
• Comfort with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with monitoring, performance testing, and incident management.

Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the development and improvements of new and reusable cloud-based systems and services. Implement and enforce security best practices in cloud environments, including access management, data protection, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Identify areas for process optimization and implement new tools or practices to enhance efficiency and performance. Manage and monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance. DevOps Integration: Utilize DevOps (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, etc) tools and lifecycle processes to streamline infrastructure deployments and updates Service Management: Oversee SLA/OLA management, service capacity planning, and incident management to meet customer expectations. Performance Reporting: Measure and report on service performance metrics to prioritize and propose improvements for clients. Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform. Experience in configuration management tools, such as Ansible. Cloud Security: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, network security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with AWS/ GCP DevOps, Jenkins, Git, and related technologies. Ideally experience with infrastructure deployments using any DevOps tool. Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Operating Systems: Experience with Linux, and Windows Server environments. Scripting: Bash/PowerShell scripting for automation tasks. Web and Application Servers: Familiarity with Apache, NGINX, Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere. Databases: Knowledge of Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB deployment models and maintenance. DB Administration knowledge not required. Networking: Solid understanding of IP/TCP protocols, WAF, VPNs, load balancer configurations. Monitoring and Testing: Experience with performance/stress testing and monitoring tools.

The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
