Job summary

SaskPower is seeking a Specialist, Cloud Infrastructure (Solution Architect) to join an agile team focused on modern technologies and continuous improvement. You will provide expert guidance on cloud infrastructure, configuration management, and solution design, supporting secure and regulated environments.

You will act as a lead contact for cloud services, helping define standards, policies, and best practices while collaborating across teams to enable reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Azure certifications are required and/or preferred.
• Three years of Azure experience, including DevOps, deployment of Azure resources, CI/CD pipelines and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure initiatives and provide expert guidance.
• Develop and implement IaC deployment templates using Bicep and ARM.
• Configure, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Automate Azure provisioning with Azure DevOps and Power Platform.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments in Azure DevOps.
• Apply Azure Policy, RBAC, and security controls for compliance.
