Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Cloud Infra Automation Engineer to join our Toronto team. The role focuses on refining and extending our IaC framework using Terraform and Terragrunt, with a strong emphasis on Azure coverage, modular design, and policy-driven quality checks.

You will build AI-assisted self-service for developers, integrate with change-management tooling, and implement secure, scalable automation across CI/CD and GitOps pipelines. This is a full-time position based in Toronto.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Mastery of Terraform and Terragrunt for IaC at scale.
• Azure IaaS/PaaS expertise and related tools.
• Scripting skills: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• CI/CD and GitOps experience for infra delivery.
• Knowledge of Azure AD/RBAC and least-privilege design.

Responsibilities

• Refine, harden, and extend IaC framework with Terraform/Terragrunt across environments.
• Expand Terraform modules for Azure coverage with secure defaults and tagging.
• Enforce IaC quality with TFLint, policy as code, tests, and pre-merge checks.
• Build AI-assisted self-service platform to query approved modules via Claude Copilot or similar.
• Automate change management with deployment pipelines and ServiceNow integration.
• Design self-service workflows and golden paths using Port.io and developer portals.
• Develop CI/CD and GitOps pipelines for infra delivery.
• Write automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
