Job summary

Maarut is hiring for a senior cloud engineer in Toronto to design, build and operate AWS infrastructure and OpenShift ROSA clusters. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, ensure security, and optimize cloud costs while supporting scalability across multi-account environments.

The role requires 7–10 years of cloud experience, strong automation with Terraform and Ansible, and hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift skills in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure (VPCs, subnets, IAM, EC2, S3).
• Architect multi-account AWS environments following Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with cost optimization: RI, Savings Plans, rightsizing.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for cloud infra.
• Author Ansible playbooks and configurations for deployment.
• Operate Red Hat OpenShift ROSA clusters and upgrades.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available.
