Baker Tilly GMA LLP in Riverview, NB seeks a detail-oriented Cloud Accountant to manage full-cycle bookkeeping and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Two or more years of bookkeeping, accounting, or cloud accounting experience.
• Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and bookkeeping practices.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is required.
• Cloud accounting and QuickBooks Online experience are assets.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare GST/HST filings, payroll remittances, T4s, and related filings.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Review financial information, investigate discrepancies, and propose solutions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
• Onboard clients to cloud accounting platforms and digital workflows.
• Improve record-keeping practices and accounting efficiencies.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Use technology and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines and deliver client service.
