Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter in Saskatoon, Canada. The role handles apparel merchandise from receipt to stocking on the sales floor, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Visual Merchandising standards.

You will unload trucks, replenish inventory, assist with pricing and signage, and maintain an organized backroom while delivering friendly customer service to guests. Training is provided on systems and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience not required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise at receipt and stock on Sales Floor per standards (50%).
• Replenish merchandise to the sales floor per Visual Merchandising Standards (10%).
• Maintain knowledge of advertised sales to support backroom organization and replenishment (10%).
• Unload trucks as needed (10%).
• Assist with pricing maintenance and signage (5%).
• Keep work area clean, neat, organized and stocked (5%).
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible (5%).
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience (5%).
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%

• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%

• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%

• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%

• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%

• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%

• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Regularly walks, stands and does computer work.

Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
