The Burns Lake office of the Ministry of Children and Family Development is a well-established, close-knit team of eight professionals dedicated to delivering child protection and resource services within the community. The Role
The Team Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to the Burns Lake office, contributing to the smooth operation of daily activities and serving as a welcoming point of contact for clients. About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future permanent vacancies.
Burns Lake: Burns Lake is located close to the middle of the province, with 4,828 km of lake shoreline. The region is home to some of the province's largest freshwater lakes, activities like fishing and boating are very popular, as well as hiking, biking, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Located near Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, Burns Lake hosts the province's second-largest Aboriginal Day event annually.
