Location: North York, ON (Office-based when not at customer clinics)
Overview: The Clinical Training Specialist & Account Manager for RxSight Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) is a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of optimizing new and existing customer workflows, driving product adoption, and providing in-depth clinical training and support. You will be a trusted advisor to Canadian RxSight customers, supporting them from the initial onboarding through post-adoption phases. In addition to traditional account management, you will train clinical staff and surgeons on the RxSight LAL technology, ensuring a seamless integration into the clinic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Customer Success
- Work with new RxSight customers to ensure effective onboarding of technology, optimizing RxSight usage.
- Design and implement strategic and tactical plans to increase customer penetration of RxSight technology.
- Collaborate with customer marketing teams to develop patient education programs and support RxSight marketing efforts.
- Drive increased adoption and utilization of RxSight technology within customer clinics by working with non-RxSight users to expand engagement.
- Implement best practices for optimizing patient flow and clinic operations to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
- Assist with the development of publications and peer-reviewed articles, as needed.
- Clinical Training & Support
- Train clinical staff and surgeons on the Light Adjustable Lens and Light Delivery Device (LDD).
- Provide ongoing in-clinic support to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the RxSight LAL.
- Actively support clinics with patient education, clinic flow optimization, and clinical troubleshooting.
- Share knowledge of best practices and proven techniques to enhance clinical outcomes for new and existing customers.
- Act as a clinical resource during onboarding and throughout the customer relationship to ensure customer success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field preferred.
- Optometric Degree or COMT preferred.
- In-clinic experience with cataract surgery and intraocular lenses required.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the ophthalmic industry; experience with the Light Adjustable Lens is an asset.
- Strong capacity to manage projects, with excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- French language skills are a strong asset.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to support customers across Canada.
Training Requirements:
- Must complete required training as outlined in the position’s training plan maintained in the document control system.
