Job description

Position Overview

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring appropriate computerized nutrition support for clients of the Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) System. Provides healthcare facility operational support to ensure the efficient operation of CBORD software modules utilized by Nutrition and Food Services. Responsibilities include:

  1. Participating in the implementation and maintenance of CBORD modules and other NFS computer programs.
  2. Operation of Diet Office/Admin Clerk activities.
  3. Quality assurance.
  4. Communication.
  5. Education and professional development.
  6. Other related duties.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in clinical dietetics.
  • At least 2 years' experience with CBORD Diet Office Program in a computerized diet office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, email, and internet.
  • Food service administration experience is an asset.
Education
  • Bachelor of Human Ecology with a major in Foods and Nutrition or equivalent.
  • Dietetic internship at an accredited institution.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Special Training
  • CBORD training.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Registered with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba or equivalent.
  • Maintains continuing education as required by the College.
  • Membership in Dietitians of Canada is recommended.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your employee handbook.
