Job summary

Medline Canada is seeking a part-time Clinical Support Specialist to educate Health Care Professionals on incontinence and wound care products. The role is hybrid, based in Edmonton, AB, with potential travel outside the province.

The successful candidate will work with the LTC Clinical and Sales teams to support account growth, implement programs in LTC homes, and stay current with best practice recommendations. A clinician with LTC experience is preferred and travel is required.

Qualifications

  • RN or RPN with current registration.
  • PSW | HCA | CCA with LTC experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in Acute Care/LTC/Home Care.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience in Medical Devices, continence and skin care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and support Health Care Professionals on Medline Incontinence and Skin & Wound Care products.
  • Collaborate with LTC Clinical and Sales teams to grow accounts and implement LTC home programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on best practice recommendations for incontinence and wound care.
  • Complete account updates weekly using designed spreadsheets and reports.
  • Travel to LTC homes and conferences as required.

The ideal candidate should be in Edmonton and is also able to travel outside of the province. This Clinical Support Specialist, primary role is to provide education and support to Health Care Professionals on Medline Incontinence Products but also be knowledgeable on the safe and effective use of the Medline Skin & Wound Care products.
