Job summary

Lifeline Connections is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical services for clients with substance use and mental health conditions. MAJOR DUTIES: The Clinical Supervisor works closely with the Program Director and Chief Clinical Officer to oversee clinical services for clients enrolled in Lifeline services. Responsibilities include clinical supervision, program oversight, maintaining client records, ensuring contract compliance, public relations, and liaising with government and private agencies. Specific duties include:

  1. Reviewing WACs, RCWs, and Federal regulations related to substance use and mental health treatment, and developing policies to ensure compliance.
  2. Ensuring continuous quality improvement addressing client needs and regulatory compliance.
  3. Maintaining agency treatment programs in compliance with DBHR and DOH standards.
  4. Preparing and submitting statistical reports on program performance.
  5. Providing clinical supervision of treatment services, including case staffing, chart audits, and treatment plan reviews.
  6. Training new staff on their assigned units.
  7. Ensuring compliance with company policies and contracts.
  8. Providing in-service training to clinical staff on current trends in substance use treatment.
  9. Participating in 50% direct service delivery.
  10. Reviewing clinical charts for accuracy and completeness.
  11. Collaborating with the Program Director on staff training and professional development.
  12. Maintaining open communication with the Program Director and staff.
  13. Managing preauthorizations from insurers as needed.
  14. Performing other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. Minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, business management, or related field, with relevant experience.
  2. Ability to meet Washington State licensing requirements for a Substance Use Dependency Professional (SUDP) within a reasonable timeframe.
  3. Knowledge of substance abuse treatment and mental health.
  4. Progressive supervisory experience in a state-approved substance use or mental health setting.
  5. Ability to meet requirements as an approved supervisor for Substance Use Professional Trainees.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Strong attendance record.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with others.

Salary: $27.50 - $37.50/hr DOE
