Position Description

The TRE-ADD Program at Surrey Place is seeking a Clinical Supervisor. Reporting to the Director, TRE-ADD, you will provide clinical accountability for the development, delivery and evaluation of individualized ABA treatment for clients with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disorders who exhibit severe behavioural, communication, socialization and learning challenges.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting functional analyses and behavioural assessments and leading the behaviour treatment planning process to be delivered in our Education and Community Partnership Program (ECPP) classrooms in partnership with the TDSB, TCDSB and PDSB.
  • Work with an interprofessional team including school board staff, and parents / caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Support intake screening for eligibility, waitlist and other community service referrals as assigned.
  • Clinical accountability for the development, delivery and ongoing evaluation of individualized ABA treatment.
  • Problem-solving with staff and families regarding issues and concerns.
  • Provision of clinical supervision, coaching, and staff training including safety procedures, and classroom clinical procedures and projects.
  • Participation in Quality Assurance Reviews for children / youth in the TRE-ADD program.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or related field
  • Member in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario as a Registered Behaviour Analyst.
  • 3 years of senior experience as a BCBA / or RBA supporting individuals with severe maladaptive behaviours (e.g., aggression, self-injury, property destruction)
  • Knowledge of Autism and Developmental Disabilities, community-based services, special education
  • Excellent, demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent teamwork, organization and communication skills.
  • The successful candidate must provide an acceptable Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening).
  • Fluency in French is considered an asset.
