Support clinical development and education, manage inventory and equipment, and customer education programs related to Medtronic products and technology. Support policy implementation and participate in clinical and operational decision-making within the organizational unit. Train investigators and customers on proper use of Medtronic products and technology.
A Day in the Life
- Conduct on-site education and consulting.
- Support field personnel to ensure optimal outcomes and customer service.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute sales plans within one or more business units.
- Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to promote product awareness.
- Work closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and Regional Sales to support customer cases and sales efforts.
- Identify and facilitate growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Teams.
- Serve as a technical resource to support sales of specific medical products or solutions.
- Report complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).
- Lead clinical education activities, including assessment, curriculum planning, communication, and skills development.
- Develop and implement clinical education programs to enhance user competencies.
- Build relationships with strategic partners, including training centers and opinion leaders.
- Provide training for new employees on products, technology, and materials.
- Assist in developing marketing and sales objectives and programs.
- Provide nursing or medical expertise in clinical development, case reports, journal articles, and clinical reports.
- Plan and coordinate educational workshops, events, and activities; evaluate customer needs.
- Arrange for speakers at key conferences.
- Coordinate with other departments on company priorities, product development, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain documentation of all clinical support and education activities.
- Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with RSM & SPM.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD.
Job Experience
- At least 6 years in healthcare or engineering with a High School Diploma or GED, or
- At least 4 years in healthcare or engineering with an Associate degree, or
- At least 2 years in healthcare or engineering with a bachelor’s degree, or
- 3 years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree and enrollment in a pacing program.
Nice to Have
- Background in Nursing Education beneficial.
- At least 5 years of healthcare sales and/or marketing experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems at national, provincial, or regional levels.
