Job summary

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support sleep diagnostic testing, equipment setup, and patient care at our Edmonton location. You will promote related products, ensure safety, and perform essential administrative tasks while maintaining confidential patient information.

The role requires strong data entry and computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, and 1–2 years in a general office setting.

Qualifications

• College certificate or diploma in Medical Office Administration or related medical background preferred.
• HSAT qualifications must meet provincial regulatory standards (BC-DAP + AB-CPSA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct appointments and set-up of equipment for sleep diagnostic testing based on American Academy of Sleep Medicine guidelines.
• Actively promote related products and provide solutions to client needs.
• Maintain up-to-date continuing education related to the position to ensure clients receive current therapies and devices.
• Recognize the importance of client safety in the Air Liquide Healthcare organization.
• Follow established company protocols for cleaning and disinfection of all equipment.
• Perform all required administration tasks.
• Ensure quality documentation through completion of company forms (digital and paper) per policy.
• Maintain client confidentiality and protect Air Liquide Home Healthcare operations.
• Seek to continuously improve branch operations by evaluating processes and participating in quality activities.
• Provide new staff and student instruction, supervision, and evaluation when necessary.
• Staff providing diagnostic sleep services (HSAT) are qualified and competent per provincial regulatory bodies.
