Position Summary

Working under the general direction of the Clinical Research Manager, UHN Critical Care Medicine, the Clinical Research Coordinator collaborates with the medical team (Principal Investigators, Research Staff, NPs, RNs, Admins) to recruit study participants, conduct screenings, obtain informed consent, and manage data collection in accordance with UHN policies and ICH/GCP guidelines. Responsibilities include managing regulatory documents, supporting study visits, liaising with sponsors and research pharmacy, and other related duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent in a health or science-related discipline
  • 3 years of clinical and/or professional experience
  • At least 1 year of clinical research experience, including submissions and REB documentation
  • Knowledge of research regulations (ICH/GCP, Tri-6 Council, FDA CFR, Health Canada TPD)
  • Experience with regulatory submissions and certifications (SOCRA CCRP) is an asset
  • Experience with EDC and electronic medical records (Epic/Cerner) is an asset
  • Strong organizational, documentation, interpersonal, communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office
