Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority’s NSEPP seeks a Clinical Psychologist (PhD) to provide specialized assessment and evidence-based interventions for young adults with first-episode psychosis. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, delivering recovery-oriented care and contributing to program development.

The role involves measurement-based care, clinical education, and supervision activities, with a commitment to trauma-informed, family-centered practices in a provincial network.

Qualifications

PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
Registered or eligible for NSRP registration.
Experience with evidence-based interventions for mental health problems.
Knowledge of measurement-based care platforms.
Experience with psychodiagnostic assessments and CBT for psychosis.

Responsibilities

Conduct direct patient assessment and individual/group treatment for early psychosis.
Deliver evidence-based treatments that are recovery-oriented and trauma-informed.
Implement measurement-based care and participate in program development and education.
