About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of the INSPIRED Program, the Clinical Program Coordinator will provide essential support to the Lung Wellness Clinic. The Lung Wellness Clinic represents a natural expansion of the INSPIRED program and will serve as an additional point of entry for collaborative chronic disease management. It will play a foundational role in delivering healthcare and education for respiratory conditions as well as other chronic illnesses. This proposed clinic will also facilitate community-based placements for respiratory therapy trainees, offering them opportunities to work to their full scope of practice.
The Coordinator may act as a preceptor during scheduled clinic days, supporting the activities of Respiratory Therapy (RT) trainees and students enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy Program. Key responsibilities include performing spirometry testing and providing clinical guidance to students to enhance their learning experience. Additionally, the Coordinator will support program oversight, training, and resource development. They will collaborate closely with the INSPIRED Medical Director, evaluation team, and Innovation Hub to ensure integration with the broader INSPIRED program and provide timely evaluation reports to key stakeholders.
