Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join Pharmasave in Merritt, BC. You will deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, manage chronic disease care plans, and administer vaccines to support patient health.

You must be licensed in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacists, with injection and OAT certifications required. Strong organizational skills and independence are essential for success in this team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacist
• Injection certification is required
• Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) certification is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
