Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy seeks a full-time Pharmacist for Pharmasave #445 in Indian Head, SK. Deliver clinical services, immunizations, and drug-therapy reviews while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

You will counsel patients, supervise trainees, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize outcomes. Strong organization and independence are essential; Saskatchewan licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
