Salary: The salary range for this position is CAD $51.37 - $64.19 / hour

Job Summary: Are you looking for a place to showcase your clinical hospital pharmaceutical skills? We have a Full-Time Relief opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing individualized pharmacotherapy and patient medication counselling.
  2. Collaborating with healthcare providers to develop, implement, and monitor therapeutic plans.
  3. Assisting in developing drug therapy guidelines and contributing to professional publications.
  4. Serving as a departmental resource and participating in quality initiatives and clinical trials.
  5. Mentoring pharmacy students, residents, and new staff.
  6. Ensuring accurate prescription validation, medication safety, and documentation.

Qualifications:

  1. Current registration as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  2. Completion of an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or equivalent experience.

Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices, effective communication, teamwork, organization, and physical ability to perform duties.
