Position Summary
Are you a registered Clinical Pharmacist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Primary Care department.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health and reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Lead, Primary and Long-Term Care, this position provides clinical pharmacy services to patients of the primary care network. As a member of an interprofessional team, this position works directly with patients to identify and resolve actual and potential drug therapy problems through comprehensive medication management.
Position covers Kitimat/Haisla Primary Care Network.
Primary Care Networks are partnerships between the Divisions of Family Practice representing BC's family physicians, regional health authorities, the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), and local community partners, along with other community providers such as nurse practitioners. All partners work together in their communities to redesign BC's primary and community care system for better patient and provider experiences.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days - 08:30 to 16:30, Rotating
Flexibility to adjust workdays and hours upon applicant's request, provided it aligns with client needs, operational requirements, and maintains the posted Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)
Kitimat
Set in a beautiful ocean, mountain, and valley paradise, Kitimat is located on the Douglas Channel near British Columbia's inside passage. Built in the 1950s, it is one of BC's youngest coastal communities with industries including aluminum, pulp and paper, and petrochemicals. The population is approximately 8,236.
