What We Are Looking For

As a pharmacist at our Oak Valley Health Outpatient Pharmacy, you will practice to your full scope, providing professional pharmacy services and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy. Your responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy operations, providing consultations, medication dispensing, pharmaceutical care in outpatient settings, assisting in dispensary maintenance, procurement, billing, and supporting patient transitions of care.

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited University Pharmacy Program
  • Part A registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists in good standing
  • 1-3 years retail experience with Kroll systems
  • Authorization to provide injections from the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Experience with medication reconciliation, drug problem resolution, patient and professional education
  • Skills in sterile procedures, attention to detail, safety, and deductive reasoning
  • Proficiency in computer systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to professional development and leadership (preferred)
  • Good attendance and performance records
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with policies and legislation
