In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, this position provides pharmacy services to patients in Northern Health. As a member of an interprofessional team, this role involves assessing and recommending individualized treatments. Acts as the primary resource for drug information, education, and provides expert advice to health care professionals. Monitors drug prescribing, drug distribution, and drug therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal, and economic use of drugs. Maintains workload records and statistics.
Shift Rotation/Hours of Work: Monday to Friday / Days - 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00

Dawson Creek is a 50-bed hospital offering inpatient care, emergency, respiratory, rehab, surgery, obstetrics & gynecology, lab, medical imaging, and cancer care. It is the northeastern BC orthopedic and trauma centre, with visiting specialists in urology, dermatology, and pediatrics.
