VitalAire, a division of Air Liquide Home Healthcare, is recruiting a highly energetic and motivated Respiratory Therapist for our Lethbridge, AB location. The Clinical Oxygen Consultant provides respiratory services focused on oxygen therapy, clinical and ventilatory support, collaborating with physicians and ensuring patient safety. The role involves working directly with clients, referral sources, and funding agencies to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, while also promoting our products and services to grow the business.

• Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments, including diagnostics, test evaluations, and developing treatment plans in consultation with clients and physicians.
• Follow up with clients to evaluate treatment effects, ensure comfort, and address compliance.
• Assess the client's home environment for safety, perform equipment quality checks, and address concerns.
• Obtain informed consent from clients.
• Contribute to business growth by liaising with healthcare professionals, providing information, and demonstrating products and services.
• Maintain ongoing education on clinical best practices and funding processes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all clinical activities and maintain client confidentiality.
• Adhere to safety, infection control policies, and equipment disinfection protocols.
• Provide instruction, supervision, and evaluation for new staff and students as needed.
• Participate in sleep duties, including initiating PAP therapy, patient education, and equipment cleaning, following company guidelines.

• Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed to practice in your province
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills
• Valid driver’s license and clear vulnerable persons check
• Healthcare experience is an asset
• Availability for rotational after-hours on-call schedule
• Proficiency with Microsoft, Google applications, and Android
