Job Description

In this valuable role, the Clinical Unregulated Care Provider Supervisor is accountable for supervising PSWs and HSWs who are caring for clients within the community. The Clinical UCP Supervisor will assess, implement, and evaluate a wide range of clinical care interventions to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, and ethical care.

  • Supervise and support PSWs and HSWs to ensure practices comply with standards and policies
  • Respond to and resolve concerns from staff, patients, families, and team members
  • Provide ongoing leadership through meetings and one-on-ones
  • Initiate patient safety incident investigations and ensure timelines and action plans are met
  • Support clinical documentation and submission requirements according to guidelines
  • Engage patients in problem solving, health teaching, and building rapport
  • Engage staff in problem solving, education, coaching, and mentoring
  • Maintain knowledge and skills to provide safe and effective services
What you bring:
  • Current RN or RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practicing nurse
