Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• 5 years of clinical experience in acute care, medicine, emergency, or relevant AMH area.
• Experience creating and delivering presentations/in services to a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate education for nursing staff including orientation, mandatory education, in-service, and continuing education.
• Collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence informed practice.
• Provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Recovery Alberta.
• Lead/debrief after code responses and support medical management of codes when needed.
