We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Manager to join our Surgical Daycare, Pre-op and Surgical Pre-Screeningleadership team!

Employment Status: Temporary Full Time

Duration: November 2026- subject to change as per Management Rights

Hours of Work: Day shifts from Monday to Friday (some evening and weekend hours may be required based on operational needs) - subject to change as per Management Rights

Location: Humber River Health, Wilson Site

Reporting Relationship: Program Director, Perioperative Services

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Program Director, the Manager:

  • Provideseffective, efficient and safe patient services through human, financial,and environmental resource management.
  • Supportsa model of patient centered care that is based on best practice, programand corporate standards, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Buildsa professional practice climate and facilitates an interdisciplinaryapproach to patient care.
  • Collaborateswith internal and external stakeholders and community partners to plan, implement and monitor delivery of patient and family centered programs andservices.
  • Provides leadership in advancing the goals and objectives of the Surgical Daycare, Pre-op and Surgical Pre-screening services withinthe organization and supports the program and organization’s strategicpriorities.
  • Coachesand mentors staff to navigate successfully through change.
  • Managesall aspects of employee relations including recruitment, retention,attendance and performance management in collaboration with HumanResources and Labour Relations.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration and/or MSc in Nursing required. Candidates who are actively pursuing their Master’s will be considered
  • Current registration and membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Minimumof five years relevant clinical experience and a minimum of three yearsleadership experience in an acute care setting.
  • Experiencein effective critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skillswithin a fast paced, complex and continually changing environment.
  • Experience in leading change, buildinghigh functioning teams and effective working relationships.
  • Skillsin strategic planning, project management, and effective resourcemanagement and utilization.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
