About Humber River Health

Humber River Health is committed to advancing healthcare initiatives in our diverse community. In partnership with several health organizations, we launched the innovative Reactivation Care Centre (RCC), located at our Finch and Church Campuses. The Finch RCC uniquely brings four hospitals together under one roof to provide specialized care for patients awaiting transfer to appropriate discharge destinations. We are now planning to open a 12-bed Acute Behavioural Assessment and Management Unit (ABAMU) at the Finch Campus.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Manager for the Reactivation Care Centre - Finch Unit and ABAMU to join our leadership team. This is a full-time role based at the Finch RCC, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide effective, safe patient services through resource management.
2. Support patient-centered care based on best practices and quality improvement standards.
3. Foster a professional practice environment and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and monitor patient and family-centered programs.
5. Lead and support program goals and staff development.
6. Manage employee relations, including recruitment, retention, and performance management.
7. Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff, and volunteers.

Qualifications

1. Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and membership with RNAO.
2. Masters degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or MBA.
3. At least 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
4. Minimum 3 years of management experience in acute, medical/surgical, or geriatric care in a community hospital.
5. Knowledge of HRH/Acute and Post Acute Care policies and standards.
6. Understanding of Senior Friendly Framework and Alternative Level of Care practices.
7. Experience in budget management, policy development, and change leadership.
8. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
9. Excellent attendance and discipline record.
