On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a highly experienced Clinical Lead / Clinical Informatics Specialist to provide leadership in the medical imaging domain (including RIS/PACS) for a major healthcare IT consolidation initiative. This role focuses on standardizing medical imaging workflows, integrating with relevant systems, and implementing computerized provider order entry (CPOE) end-to-end. The successful candidate will serve as a clinical expert, driving process improvements and stakeholder collaboration across a large-scale digital health project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development of a standardized medical imaging catalogue in collaboration with integration teams.
  • Lead standardization of medical imaging departmental workflows and operational processes (RIS/PACS).
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of CPOE for medical imaging services.
  • Conduct workflow analysis and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and review program documents, business cases, scope documents, and change requests.
  • Coordinate with team members to gather business content and define action plans.
  • Educate stakeholders on new processes, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support project managers with planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated experience in Change Management, Clinical Workflow, Clinical Informatics, and CPOE implementation (preferably with systems like Altera/Allscripts, Oracle Health, Epic, or Meditech).
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare informatics, with a focus on medical imaging (RIS/PACS) processes.
  • Proven track record delivering CPOE end-to-end in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral, presentation) with experience engaging senior executives.
  • Ability to lead process review and improvement initiatives.
