A leading health services organization is seeking a Clinical Informatician to enhance pharmacy operations through effective information management and technology solutions. Your Opportunity:
The Connect Care Willow Inpatient Clinical Informatician (CI) position reports to and is accountable to the Manager, Pharmacy IT: Willow Application Team. This position will work with the Willow Inpatient/Ambulatory/Inventory teams to support operational processes and pharmacy business operations, focusing on the Pharmacy Connect Warehouse Management System (WMS). Description:
As a Clinical Informatician, you will lead or participate in the customization, development, implementation, management, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical information systems. You will develop and deploy information and system solutions, leveraging your clinical expertise and knowledge of your health discipline. Your role in Clinical Health Informatics involves applying information technology to facilitate the creation and use of health data, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective health services for Canadians.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of a bachelor's degree in a health-related field. Active registration with the applicable professional association or college.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician within Alberta. Ability to travel to the U.S. (when permitted) and within Alberta. Must pass the EPIC Aptitude (Sphinx) test. Must obtain Epic Accreditation or Proficiency in Willow Inpatient within 3 months of hire. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage time effectively, switch priorities, and multitask. Ability to work independently and in teams. Proficiency in computer and word processing. Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning. Accuracy, reliability, and a service-oriented attitude are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AHS Inpatient Pharmacy, hospital responsibilities including order entry, IV admixture, and drug distribution. Familiarity with Windows applications. Membership in a pharmacy organization is preferred. Experience and education in EPIC configuration. EPIC Willow certification/proficiency/accreditation is a plus.
